The band has remained one of the most active bands from that era & still consists of three original & primary members: brothers A. Jay (lead vocals) & Jeremy Popoff (lead guitar), & Kevin Baldes (bass).
The mega-hit 'My Own Worst Enemy' is one of the most broadcast, karaoke'd, recognizable rock hits of the last 20 years & won a Billboard Music Award for Modern Rock Song of the Year. Their unforgettable 'Miserable' video featuring Pamela Anderson was one of the top 10 most played songs of 2000. In 2017 Lit found themselves back on the charts hitting #1 on the CMT 12-Pack with their video for 'Fast', from their These Are the Days album.

Lit CD 'Tripping the Light Fantastic'This is an early LIT release, and it is readily apparent that AJ's voice was not yet refined. The music is HARD HITTING and if you enjoy any of LIT's later releases, you'll appreciate having some early stuff in your collection, as well. I found myself replaying 'No Big Thing' and then realized that it was re-done on another of their later CD's. This is an definitely an interesting CD, and there are only one or two cuts that I've repeatedly skipped past, due to the SHREIKING, SCREAMING, and IMMATURE vocals. The guys show-off their CHOPS on more than a few of the tracks and it's worthy of a SERIOUS listen, over and over, again!
